Meghan Fennessy, Head Manager
This is Meghan’s third year at RPSP, and it is her second year as head manager. During the pool’s off-season, she is a 5th and 6th-grade language arts teacher at St. Mark School in Catonsville. Meghan enjoys the close-knit community that the Roland Park Pool offers and looks forward to seeing many of the friendly faces season after season. Throughout high school and college, Meghan was also a lifeguard and manager at her community pool in her hometown, Harrisburg, PA!
Jen Silva, Assistant Manager
Joining us for her second year as assistant manager, Jen is happy to be back at RPSP! She is an elementary teacher in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Having been a supportive swim team mom, Jen can’t find a better way to spend her time off from school! Jen also enjoys reading, gardening and baking while not at the pool!
Howell Baker, Assistant Manager
Howell is a rising sophomore at the University of Maryland, College Park, and he is studying accounting. This is Howell’s first year on the management staff. Having worked for us for the past 3 years, Howell reports that his favorite part of working at the pool has been meeting new people that he otherwise would not have be able to. Before working with us, he has been a lifelong member of RPSP.
Tess Gilmore, Assistant Manager
A rising Senior at Friends School of Baltimore, Tess has been working at RPSP for the past 3 years as a lifeguard. She has never been a member of the pool, but she heard so many great things that she felt called to work with us! Her favorite part about working at RPSP is working with and getting to know families in her community. She says that she has had so much working at the pool!
Sam Handwerk, Assistant Manager
Sam is a rising Senior at Friends School of Baltimore. She has been a member of the pool since 4th grade. This is her first year on the management staff, but she has worked at RPSP for 3 years. Her favorite part about working at RPSP is having the opportunity to meet and connect with new patrons and coworkers, which can turn into lifelong friendships.
Emma Villanueva, Assistant Manager
Emma is a Sophomore at Catholic University of America. This is her second year working as a lifeguard for RPSP, but in the past, she has coached the swim team. Emma has been a member of the pool for 17 years! She says her favorite part of working at RPSP is helping kids get comfortable in the water and learn to love swimming.
