Water Aerobics

For the fourth year, the Roland Park Pool will be offering Water Aerobics classes to all members 16 years or older!

Carol Bishop, Aquatics Exercise Association (AEA) certified instructor, will be leading challenging and music motivated classes in the lap pool.

Benefits of Water Aerobics include:

      • Improves balance, muscle endurance, core strength, flexibility
      • Keeps body cool while burning calories
      • Low impact on joints
      • Fun and enjoyable with your pool friends!

Classes will start on Tuesday June 14.  With exceptions, classes will be held on Tuesday & Wednesday evenings at 7 PM and Saturday mornings at 10 AM.  A class schedule for the summer is available at the pool.

Cost of the class is $3. 

The use of water shoes is highly recommended for improved support and traction.

Noodles and a limited number of hand buoys are provided.  Please consider purchasing your own set of hand buoys as pictured above.

Bring your sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle to fully enjoy the class!  Minimal swimming skills are acceptable; your head won’t even go under the water!

If a class is canceled due to bad weather, the RPSP website (website) will be updated.
